Elementary students met the challenge this March! With each book they read, they added a green circle to build their “very hungry caterpillar” in the academy commons. Principal Mrs. Ender challenged the students to extend the caterpillar all the way around the lunch room. The students met their challenge and kept going. The caterpillar reaches around the lunch room and down the elementary hallway! Students received a jeans day on Wednesday, March 31, to celebrate.
Mrs. Ender closed reading month with the students by reading a special book. The Greatest Treasure was written and illustrated by Everest’s own sixth-grade girls. The book describes each part of the Mass and its significance.
Congratulations readers and congratulations sixth graders on your hard work!
