The fifth-grade girls had their mother and daughter retreat on Tuesday, March 10, and the boys had their mother and son retreat the following day. It was special to have the gender-specific formation activities. While the activities for the retreats were fairly similar, the delivery of the activities was tailored toward each gender. The moms appreciated the time for fellowship and formation specifically related to their sons and their daughters. While the moms had their fellowship time, the students continued their retreat. The high school ECYD team leaders for each group came over and ran formative activities. The morning ended with adoration in the chapel.
