This weekend, Everest was filled with familiar faces and joyful reunions as former students from Everest’s international program returned to the mitten, a place many now call their “home away from home.” Former students spent their visit reconnecting with the Everest community that helped shape them from catching up with faculty and former classmates to meeting this year’s International program students. It was a special opportunity for current students to hear firsthand about life after Everest and the lasting impact of the friendships formed here.

Time together was spent reflecting on each generation’s experiences, celebrating how the program continues to grow while holding tight to the same core values. The alumni joined the community for a dance, shared a beautiful Mass and Adoration together, and embraced moments of prayer and gratitude that reminded everyone what makes Everest feel like home. Of course, no winter visit would be complete without enjoying Michigan’s snowy season. The group hit the slopes at Pine Knob.
