Everest Collegiate High School is pleased to announce that Coach Christopher Giarmo will be coaching the track and field team beginning in the spring of 2026. Coach Giarmo discovered a passion for track and field in high school when he joined the team at Monroe St. Mary’s Catholic Central to “stay in shape” for football season. He discovered not only a talent for hurdling but also a love for the culture of the sport. He went on to participate in the track team at Adrian College. His times in the 60-meter hurdles and 110-meter hurdles remain in the top ten of the Bulldogs record books. Coach Giarmo brings his faith as well as his talent and passion to the track team. The Giarmo family’s oldest two children are Mountaineers in Everest’s lower school. Coach Giarmo will be assisted by Coach Roselli, former head coach of the track team and current cross country coach.
Everest extends gratitude to Coach Dave Berney for coaching the Mountaineers the past two seasons.
The spring sports season begins in early March. Spring sports registration will open this month.
