Guest post by junior David Dale in Everest’s business and technological writing class.
When asking senior Madelyn Sarnecki what she was most grateful for over her years at Everest, she said that she values the way that God is integrated into the day to day life at Everest. She also says she is grateful how there is always access to the chapel and she has the opportunity to spend time with Jesus . Junior David Dale said that he really values the way that the teachers and coaches always keep the faith most important as well as helping him to become the best man he can be. David also loves how involved the Legionary priests are at the school, he said that Priest Father Thomas does all the football team masses and does a special sports blessing whenever the teams have a game. He said this is a very special tradition to him. Sophomore Carrie Walker echoed gratitude for how readily available the sacraments are, especially because of her love for the Eucharist. Ben Whitehurst, a freshman new to Everest this year, shared that he loves how the teachers are very involved and treat everyone as a person instead of just a number.
