Everest’s international boys have had an exciting few weeks full of sports, travel, and unforgettable experiences! A few weeks ago, the boys headed downtown to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit for the much-anticipated Detroit Pistons game. This wasn’t just any game. It was the Pistons’ season home opener! The atmosphere was electric, and the boys were thrilled to witness the action live. Manuel Díaz Brown, a huge NBA fan, shared how amazing it was to see the players in person. To make the night even more special, the boys had the exclusive opportunity to shoot a free throw on the NBA court after the game. This was an experience they won’t forget!

The next weekend brought another incredible adventure, this time in South Bend, Indiana, where the boys visited the University of Notre Dame. They toured the beautiful campus, attended Mass with Fr. Christopher, and joined the crowd for an exciting Notre Dame football game against Navy. To top it off, they even experienced their first snowfall of the year while there! Marco Cuesta said it was his favorite outing of the year so far!

These experiences not only gave the boys a taste of American sports and culture, but also strengthened their friendships and deepened their appreciation for the opportunities that come with their time at Everest.
