One of the beautiful Everest traditions is the honoring of the Catholic practice of a Eucharistic procession. This practice, usually honored at the Feast of Corpus Christi, is moved earlier in the year for Mountaineers to include the senior class before the end of the year. Together, the entire preschool through twelfth grade student body prayer the rosary while participating in the Eucharistic procession. This year, Mountaineers also took the opportunity to pray for the repose of the soul of the late Pope Francis.
