Just a short week ago, EC homecoming week wrapped up with EC football securing a shut-out win over Cardinal Mooney. The week was a flurry of activities as classes competed in competition throughout the week organized by the formation team and student government. From tug-of-war to paint the rock, powderbuff, powderpuff, and more, the week was full of spirit and fun. Congratulations to the senior class on the definitive win. The junior class gave them a run for their money with definitive wins in the girls’ tug-of-war, chariot race, and Mountaineer class challenge, but they left 60 points on the table with in spirit wear dress – widening the seniors’ lead. Thank you to each of the class’s participation in NHS’s “Save their Souls” sock drive, with the school collecting 982 pairs of socks for St. Vincent De Paul. This year’s homecoming king and queen, Dominic Walker and Isabella Ponce, were crowned at halftime of the football game following recognition of this year’s homecoming court:
