This week, students are preparing for their Trimester II exams. For international students, it marks just one trimester left of their time in Michigan. Winter break brought parents’ weekend. Students had a great time visiting their parent while also realizing how quickly their time in Michigan is coming to a close.
After returning, the boys enjoyed an outing to go see the Detroit Red Wings! The boys loved the game. Alberto Gular said his favorite part was the overtime, because it made the anticipation of the ending that much more exciting. And on top of that, the Red Wings won!
This Saturday, the girls spent a heartwarming morning at Lourdes Senior Center, sharing time with the residents through arts and crafts. As they painted, decorated, and created, they also exchanged stories and laughter, learning from the wisdom and experiences of those they were serving. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of companionship and kindness. The girls left with full hearts, grateful for the chance to bring joy to others and to receive so much in return.
This weekend was all about laughter and fun as the girls hit the slopes at Pine Knob, but with a twist! Dressed in funny animal onesies, they snowboarded down the hills, turning heads and making memories with every fall and jump. From cows to unicorns, the slopes had never looked this fun! They kept the fun going at a spinning teacup ride, where the challenge wasn’t just holding on but also trying not to laugh too much! It was the perfect mix of adventure, silliness, and unforgettable moments.
