The eighth-grade class exercises leadership within the academy building throughout the year in a number of ways – from organizing field day to the Living Stations of the Cross and more. They are also responsible for working together with Mr. Cross to set up the life-sized Nativity scene in the academy commons. The scene helps the Advent season come to life for Mountaineers as they contemplate the Nativity and eagerly away the placement of Baby Jesus in the manger on Christmas.
