Everest is proud to provide students and their families a safe, secure learning where the focus of each day can be on Integral Formation. Security upgrades throughout the years have included door locks, cameras, training for faculty and staff, visibility-reducing window film, and more. This year’s security updates include the addition of a safety officer on campus. Everest is pleased to partner with Fortis Group.
As the school year begins, Mountaineers have gotten to know Mr. Hughes, known to our youngest students as “fist bump guy.” Mr. Hughes can be found all over campus throughout the day, checking buildings, supervising student transitions between buildings, and working with administration on policies and procedures to increase campus safety. His workstation in the academy building has been covered with students’ artwork! Fortis Group is a faith-based, mission-oriented organization with a staff of former law enforcement and emergency personnel who bring years of expertise to the organization. We are grateful for Fortis’s partnership as a tool to support the education of our students.
