ECYD for girls and for boys wrapped up the year with some big events. The boys participated in the annual JPII Tournament with students participating in sports, prayers, and fun!
Fifty-one middle school girls headed off for the weekend to serve those in need in the local community. They visited nursing home and Angel’s Place residences, gardened at local elementary schools in partnership with “Community Impact Weekend”, helped run a Catholic Charities children’s day festival, and more! In addition to their mission projects the kids had adoration, water games, a bonfire, and sleepover at the international program home at Queen of the Family. The kids said they loved the adoration, the opportunity to sacrifice for others, the chance to learn new things, see others also making a difference, and getting to make someone’s day.
Then, students came together for final awards and an end-of-year celebration. Thank you to all our faculty, staff, and volunteers who make these opportunities possible for our students to grow in friendship with Christ!
