Each year, high school students celebrate Catholic Schools Week with the EC Winter Games. Competition is fierce as classes compete for a coveted day off of school. Student government determines the theme for the week, with each class chooses a name and category within the theme. This year, student government chose decades. The Freshman Throwback (90s), Soaring Sophomores (60s), Jiving Juniors (50s), and Seniors in the 70s (70s) spent a week participating in activities related to the the themes of Catholic Schools Week – celebrating our parishes, community, students, nation, vocations, faculty, staff, volunteers, and families. Activities throughout the week earned the classes points, culminating in Friday’s winter games day-long competition. Highlights of the week always include the hallway decorating competition and lip sync battle.
