Despite the rainy, fall weather this year, Everest’s homecoming week was a week of spirit and fun. While students scoured the hallways for print-outs of the school’s mascot, Sir Edmund, classes also earned points for participation in tug-of-war, a sock drive for the needy, a spirit rock painting competition, and a fight song video challenge. The week also included the annual powderbuff game (2-0 varsity girls), powderpuff (49-14 upperclassmen), senior sunrise, a time of prayer in Eucharistic adoration, and athletic competitions for all teams.
