It has been a couple of years since the annual fine arts night held in the spring could take place with a parent audience. The Catechism of the Catholic Church speaks of the arts. It describes the arts as a distinctively human form of expression, a freely given superabundance of the human being’s inner riches. Art bears a likeness to God’s activity in what we have created.

Everest’s fine arts offerings include music, band, choir, art, and drama. Students in third grade through high school shared their art work and music with parents on Wednesday evening. A highlight of the evening was the concluding senior trio (plus Joseph Morrison) playing Money for Nothing by Dire Straits. Congratulations to all our students and teachers for their hard work.
