This week, students in second through eighth grades held spelling competitions within their classrooms. Many students studied extensively in preparation for the contest. Students worked hard to spell correctly and encouraged one another when mistakes were made.
Third through eighth grade top spellers will advance to the finals next week. The school champion will have the opportunity to advance to the regional spelling bee.
