Sophomore Remy Stalcup was a dean for the day in the high school shortly before the end of the school year. “His day included a morning meeting with the high school leadership team, an overview of a day-in-the-life as the EC dean and various jobs around campus with me,  and lunch with a friend from Culver’s. He prepped for the upcoming 5K for a Cause by mapping the course all across campus and distributing the t-shirts to faculty and students. The day ended with a surprise kickball game with his 10th grade classmates and a pizza party.” -Mrs. Van Wagoner

A few weeks later, Remy was working hard on the golf course, claiming the D4 state championship title. He shot two under par for the first day and and even par on the second day, winning by seven strokes. After taking second place repeatedly throughout the season at tournaments, Remy’s first win was his ultimate goal of the season. Remy’s state champion title makes back-to-back state championship titles for Everest Collegiate after Mitch Lowney claimed the title in 2019.
