Congratulations Class of 2021 on your many achievements! Senior awards recipients were honored at Thursday’s senior honors night. This class has faced a unique year, and they have embraced it. Student speaker, Anthony Felix, shared this with his classmates and guests.
“We’ve missed out on things like our senior trip or homecoming or sporting events, and like I said it can be so easy to get upset or take an attitude of: “I can’t wait for this year just to be over.” I think that has been a societal norm recently, and something that our class became fed up with, primarily due to the way we live out the school motto. There is always some way to grow in any situation, some way to get better or become a better version of yourself, some way to be Semper Altius; and the EC Class of 2021 is the epitome of that. Faced with the difficulties of the year, we have persevered, and it has brought us all closer.”
Celebrations for the Class of 2021 continue this weekend with the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises.
