EC alumni Josh Legg and Max Engle, Class of 2019, are hosting a Lenten podcast. They began the podcast to talk with college friends about their faith journeys. They discussed how their experience and faith formation attending Catholic school has shaped their lives since they graduated. On this first episode, Josh and Max were joined by Grant Burgess, Class of 2018. Josh is studying at Oakland University, and Max is studying at Duquesne University. Grant is currently studying at Miami University, Oxford.

After the challenges of this past year, they are excited to build community and their relationships with their peers. The alum discussed the transition from the faith environment in high school to making the faith their own as they’ve entered college as well as the challenges of the past year. They have found peer groups and consistent attendance at Sunday Mass to be important means for living their faith. Check out their podcast to hear more about their journeys.

EC dean of discipline, Erin Van Wagoner, shared the podcast with fellow faculty: “I wanted to share as a reminder that our influence and witness as formators is far more influential that we can imagine. Although we don’t always see the fruits of our labor, we’re truly forming minds and hearts that are going into the world to bring people closer to Him.”
