Friday, January 8, was the annual professional development retreat for Everest Collegiate High School & Academy faculty and staff. While students enjoyed a long weekend, teachers, administrators, maintenance staff, and the whole Everest team set aside a day to pray. The staff divided into group and were led in three reflections by the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi who serve at Everest, Miss Rose, Miss Gaby, and Miss Regina. The theme of the day was prayer. Reflections focused on different ways to pray and also the importance of prayer in our lives.
