It is the first snow of the season. Sherpas love the snow because it means mountain climbing! An Everest sherpa is a current member of the Everest community who helps a new family as they set out on their journey as a Mountaineer family. Sherpas have been hard at work this season through the fall open house, regional nights, and the 8th grade shadow day!

The Everest fall open house took on a new format this year. Families from the middle school as well as new Everest families had the opportunity to learn more about how Everest meet the objectives for any high school, what makes Everest unique, why Everest’s approach is unique, and more! Between presentations families could visit information booths lining the hallway about clubs, robotics, curriculum, yearbook, languages, and even some of Fr. Thomas’ famous cooking at the Holy Land booth!

Everest sherpas have also been helping admissions director Kelly Loush promoting Everest at local regional nights.

The Everest Academy eighth graders enjoyed a day shadowing at EC learning about high school student life and ending the day with a fun assembly. Do you know someone who may be interested in learning more about Everest? Invite them to learn more about Everest today!
