Lucia Pruchnicki & Raynce Sickmiller

“Scottish-American author, B.C. Forbes, said it best. ‘Cheerfulness is among the most laudable virtues. It gains you the good will and friendship of others. It blesses those who practice it and those upon who it is bestowed.’ Lucia’s and Rayne’s cheerfulness bring a steady sense of warmth into the classroom each day. Their positive attitude is evident in the way they greet both teachers and classmates with a genuine smile, creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming and inclusive. Even during challenging lessons, they maintain an optimistic outlook, encouraging others to stay engaged and not feel discouraged. This consistent display of enthusiasm often lifts the overall mood, making the learning environment more enjoyable for everyone. Beyond their own demeanors, the students’ cheerfulness has a ripple effect on those around them. They are quick to offer kind words, celebrate others’ successes, and provide support when classmates struggle. Their lighthearted humor and friendly natures help ease tension and foster stronger peer connections. As a result, the classroom becomes not just a place for academic growth, but also a community where students feel comfortable, motivated, and valued.” -Mrs. Motyka, Fourth-Grade Teacher
