Representatives from various Regnum Christi schools in the United States and the Philippines gathered over Easter break at the RC Education Summit near Chicago, Illinois to listen to speakers on topics related to integral formation and personal, meaningful accompaniment of students.  On the third and final day of the meetings, participants joined thousands of other educators at the NCEA (National Catholic Educational Association) Conference where they received great ideas and insights to bring back to their schools.

Here is what a few of Everest’s formators had to say about the experience:

“I enjoyed the RC Education Summit because it gave me the opportunity to listen to some great ideas from other educators who share our charism and mission as a Regnum Christi school.” -Father Thomas Salazar, LC, Chaplain

“Attending my first RC Education meeting was truly a blessing. Having the chance to spend time with staff from other RC communities was a wonderful experience and very inspiring. A bonus was participating in the NCEA conference and connecting with other admissions directors about new ideas for enrollment. It was great sharing time with my Everest colleagues, too!”  -Kelly Loush, Admissions Director

“It was a great time to hear from all other Regnum Christi schools in North America and the Philippines, reconnect, and learn. There was a day in which we shared ‘best practices’, and I was asked to share about our virtue program. It was also very helpful to go to the NCEA conference and see all the good things that are happening in the Catholic schools world.” -Gaby Ruiloba, Formation Instructor
