Students of Everest’s international program braved the chilly spring morning on Saturday, March 23 to serve the homeless in Detroit in partnership with PB&J Outreach.
It is always in giving that we receive. Isa shared her experience saying, “Helping people made me happy.” Nine grader Paloma shared, “It opened my eyes and helped me appreciate what I have.” Maria Jose summed it up well when she said, “I learned that true happiness comes when you put others before yourself.”
