“It is something they will never forget.” Learning through firsthand experience about the process of electing a pontiff has become a tradition for second graders at Everest. Parents value this tradition not only for the joy it brings their children but for the knowledge and love of the Catholic faith. This year’s pontiff, Benjamin Page, was ushered by his Swiss Guards, Joshua Neiman and Reardon Anderson, through the academy building before heading to the high school lunch room where they passed out “Pope-sicles.” The Feast of the Chair of St. Peter is always a joyful celebration at Everest!
