From June 23 to July 7, 26 members of the Knights of the Altar participated in a Vatican trip. This trip was earned by students who had been members of the Knights of the Altar for two years and had completed all requirements to be eligible for the trip. The first part of the trip took place in Val Formazza, Italy, where students participated in ECYD formation activities and growing in faith and friendship. The group had the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Italian and Swiss Alps.
The second part of the trip brought the group of Rome where they served at daily Masses in St. Peter’s Basilica. They were also able to serve during a major Mass with the canon priests of the basilica. The trip ended with a special Mass with Fr. John Connor, LC, general director of the Legionaries of Christ who encouraged the participants to continue growing in their love for Christ.
