March is reading month. Our early elementary students have been scoring baseball “runs” with the books they have read this month. Every 25 books moved a paper version of school mascot, Sir Edmund, around the bases as the students competed versus principal Mrs. Ender. The students achieved their goal and were rewarded with a special themed dress day and hot dogs while Fr. Thomas read to them to close the month. United Shore Baseball League will also be providing students with ticket voucher for meeting their goal.

As a special treat, high school National Honor Society members buddied up with students to read together on the last day of reading month. Elementary students love the opportunity to spend time with their older peers.
