On Tuesday, March 9, the eighth-grade boys participated in their annual retreat. The retreat took place at the Subiaco Retreat Center in Oxford, Michigan. The themes of the retreat were what does a real man look like and the importance of brotherhood. EC seniors Jack Lasceski and Mike McGrath were invited to help during the retreat and share their personal testimony. It was received very well by the boys. The day ended with adoration and confession.
Jimmy Nedwick was asked how he liked the retreat. “The retreat was great. It really made me think how important it is to find a group of guys to create a strong brotherhood to help me be who I am supposed to be.” This was the last retreat of these young men finishing up their middle school years and move on to high school.
