Senior Stas Yanovsky made sushi in marine biology class this week.   The class just finished studying the structure of marine fish and wanted to take advantage of Stas’ experience as a sushi chef in training at Kaku Sushi and Poke restaurant in Birmingham.  Stas is also an assistant manager at Kaku, handling deliveries and running the front of the restaurant. Stas used crab, fresh tuna, and fresh salmon to make several sushi rolls.
