Apostolic formation is an important part of student formation at Everest. From preschool to twelfth grade, students dedicate specific time throughout the school year to sharing Christ’s love through acts of service. One way this is accomplished in the lower school is through an annual Mountaineer Mission Day. Students spend the Lenten season gathering supplies for those in needs. Each grade partners with an organization to provide supplies for the organization’s ministry. This year, Mountaineer partnered with these organizations:

Preschool: Providing new and gently-used board books (limit two per student) and bottles as well as new pacifiers and sippy cups to Mother and Unborn Baby Care in Southfield

Junior Kindergarten & Kindergarten: Making toiletry bags for Grace Centers of Hope

First Grade: Collecting items for Friends of Foster Kids organization

Second Grade: Making birthday bags for Neighbor to Neighbor

Third Grade: Preparing boxes of muffins for Meals on Wheels

Fourth Grade: Collecting dog supplies and gifts cards to support Blue Star Service Dogs and veterans

Fifth Grade: Assembling bags for expecting parents for Oxford Pregnancy Center
