An ongoing priority for leadership at Everest is building middle school identity. Sandwiched between the lower school and high school, middle school programming has many unique aspects for students. From their own uniforms to NJHS, cadet programs, their own clubs, and more, the three years of transition from elementary to high school are marked by building habits and discovering identity.
For the 26-27 school year, Everest is pleased to expand elective offerings for middle school students. While traditional options in the fine arts including band, choir, and drama remain, there are new electives that allow students to delve deeper into topics including art, creative writing, art history, Computers II, Writing II, and more. Middle school director, Mrs. Diffenderfer, explained options to students who will submit requests for the coming school year.
