Fentayl Fathers presented to EC students on Monday, March 31. This non-profit is founded by a group of fathers who have lost their children to accidental drug overdoses. They are dedicated to providing schools a powerful, real-world approach to educating youth on the dangers of fentanyl and overdose prevention. Students learned about how fentanyl-laced drugs can be accidentally obtained by unsuspecting victims. A representative from Oakland County also shared information with students about identifying an overdose and the use of Narcan as a life-saving measure.
