Friday, March 14 the kindergarten through second-grade students had the opportunity to come back to school and spend some one on one time with their dad. The theme of the event was on learning to live the virtues St. Joseph teaches us to live. Middle school boys: Bradley, Sean, and Jacob, stayed after school to help set up the St. Joseph stations for younger boys. Each station had an image of St. Joseph, along with a quote from Pope Francis’ letter With a Father’s Heart about St. Joseph and a task for them to do together related to the virtue. Mr. Ender was a special guest at the activity night having set up three areas for the boys to work on their carpentry skills. They got to saw, hammer a nail in, and the high light for all the boys was they got to try chiseling. Mr. Ender handmade a mallet for each boy to use while he chiseled and then to bring home with them so they can always remember this special night with their dad. Thank you, Mr. Ender, for taking the time to make it s special night!
