Over Thanksgiving break, the international students had an unforgettable trip to Chicago, exploring the charm and excitement of the Windy City! They visited fascinating museums like the Field Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry, the marine life in the Shedd Aquarium, and experienced the thrill of seeing Chicago from above at the Skydeck. They even got the chance to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Broadway production, which surprised them with its amazing special effects. Their adventure continued with a cruise along the river, a ride on the Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier, and a stroll through Millennium Park to visit the iconic Cloud Gate and the excitement of the FlyOver experience added to the fun. They also had the chance to try the classic Chicago flavors, from hot dogs at Portillo’s to deep-dish pizza at Giordano’s. Shopping and laughter filled their free time. One fun tradition on the this trip is that the parents write their sons a special Thanksgiving letter, and the staff keeps them until Thanksgiving Day!  The trip wasn’t just about exploring a new city but also about bonding as a chose family, growing in gratitude, and reflecting about all the blessings in their lives.
