“National Vocation Awareness Week is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.” (USCCB) This year’s celebrations involved many several special visitors for Mountaineers. Two Legionary seminarian visited the school during the week with Fr. Thomas Salazar, LC. The seminarians visited classrooms, led adoration, served at Friday’s Mass, and attended the district football game! EC alum Jacob Sasak ’24 also visited during the week. On Friday, Fr. Craig Giera, vocations director for the Archdiocese of Detroit, celebrated Mass for all students in PS through high school.
