Everest’s Olympic readers are ready for reading month. Mountaineers gathered for their “opening ceremony” on Friday, March 1. The classes paraded into the commons to the Olympic theme song. Principal Mrs. Ender ran the Olympic torch in for the official start of reading month! She read a book to the preschool through second-grade students. Each class represents a country as they begin to tally the books they read towards their reading goals. Good luck, readers!
