Second graders participated in a mock conclave to elect this year’s representatives for the celebration of the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter. The students prayed in the chapel about which student exhibits virtue in their class. Then, they cast their votes. Finally, the votes were burned. The students learned about the black and and white smoke that signals the election of a pope. On tomorrow’s feast day, Donovan and his Swiss Guards, Xavier and Luke, will visit classes across campus.
