Even thought third grade was praying for a snow day last Tuesday, they were grateful it turned out not to be so they did not have to postpone their retreat with their moms. Freshman Elena Neiman led a reflection for the third-grade class and helped them prepare a surprise for the their moms, while the moms met with Miss Rose for a reflection and some fellowship time. Then the students and moms got back together and took a quiz to see how well they knew each other. The retreat ended with a fun game of sharks and minnows, during which the each pair of mom and child needed to remain connected together.
