The junior class surprise seminar was a success! The high school leadership team enjoyed a morning with the rising senior class focusing on the theme “Step Up, Seniors” The time was well spent preparing for senior year together. The class participated in activities that focused on strength, leadership, unity, communication, and commitment.
Individually, they took a strength finding test and then had a group discussion on how their unique strengths make them stronger as a class. They also identified areas they want to improve on for their senior year. The class also worked on class communication through a series of interactive activities.
Lastly, the seminar headed into the chapel where each member shared a personal characteristic that he/ she is committed to embodying as a senior leader. Fr. Thomas gave the group a special blessing and asked the Holy Spirit to enlighten them with strength and courage as the EC senior class. The seminar ended as the class enjoyed a lunch together from Jersey Mike’s compliments of the Cardinal Newman Society. It was a great day!
