International girls and boys travelled to Israel to spend Holy Week and Easter week following in Jesus’s footsteps. The group had a great experience, some of the highlights from each day follow:

  • On Good Friday, the students retraced the steps of the Way of Cross through the streets of Jerusalem.
  • On Holy Saturday, the students visit Bethlehem. A highlight of their day and of the trip was spending a day in an orphanage. There they helped play with the children and feed the elderly. The nuns who run the orphanage live entirely off of donation and divine providence. Prior to the trip, the group asked what they could bring. The sisters expressed that they needed laundry detergent. Most students used their own money at Target to purchase detergent for the nuns and also toys to bring to the children.
  • On Easter Sunday, the group travelled to Ein Karem, following the steps Our Lady took to visit her cousin Elizabeth. The day ended visiting the Western Wall.
  • The following days took the group to the Holy Sepulchre, Calvary, the Jordan River, the Basilica of the Anunciation, and the Sea of Galilee. At Cana, the girls received purity rings.

The trip was a wonderful experience for all the students!
