The junior boys had their annual class retreat on November 29-30 at the Subiaco Retreat Center. The theme of the retreat was “Mission”. The boys learned that they have been called by God to give of themselves in a profound way to meet the needs of others.

Everest dad, Jim Walker, gave his testimony on the benefits he has seen in his life that resulted from his year of volunteer work as a Regnum Christi Missionary when he was a young man. They also had a chance to hear about different opportunities for mission work. Nearly all the boys showed an interest in doing mission work at some point in their life.  Helping with the retreat were two Legionary of Christ seminarians, Br. Mateo Marin and Br. Anthony Norton. They came from the Legionary seminary in Cheshire, Connecticut to help with the retreat along with some other activities that took place at school.
