On Wednesday, June 8, 3rd-8th grade students were recognized for their accomplishments this year. The ceremony also included a special recognition of the eighth graders who complete their elementary and middle school studies before entering high school. Fr. Luis Felipe Villalobos, LC, celebrated the Mass and reminded students of important spiritual items they should remember to “pack” as they prepare for the summer. In addition to the awards presented, each eighth grader received a rosary and a certificate of completion.
Mrs. Ender and Mr. Nalepa also presented the Fr. Lorenzo Gomez Renaissance of Values Scholarship. The scholarship is a one-time, $6000 scholarship to a student’s high school tuition. The scholarship recognizes a student who demonstrates and develops traits of spirituality, family orientation, industriousness, service, and scholarship. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Luca Gjonaj.
