Everest students enjoyed “green day” on St. Patrick’s Day. Fun activities were planned by many teachers including second grade creating their own “potato head” creatures and class parties. Mrs. Motyka’s fourth-grade class arrived to a special surprise, a “Leprechaun Family Reunion.” The classroom had been decorated and transformed. The students were challenged to complete a math challenge for each member of the “leprechaun family.” After completing each challenge, they receive a sticker next to the name of that family member before moving on to the next challenge.
