The EC Class of 2025 gathered for the first freshmen seminar of the school year this past week. The theme was: New Year… New You: a fresh start to becoming the best version of yourself.

Mrs. Krogh,  Miss Regina, Mrs. Van Wagoner, and Fr. Brian Hoelzen prepared dynamic activities and discussions challenging the ninth graders to make good choices and to seek out opportunities during their high school career that will help them develop into the best version of themselves.  EC senior, Joey Thibodeau, visited the class to share his tips on how to be successful in high school and presented them with insight on lessons he has learned over the past four years. He also reminded them to utilize their teachers, priests and consecrated, administrators, coaches, and friends when they need help.

The seminar ended with a group activity where each member of the class wrote down one strength or unique talent that they bring to their fellow classmates and the Everest community. The class formed a chain of their strengths and together took it to the chapel.  EC student government class reps Sarah Bradley and Madelyn Krappmann led a prayer in thanksgiving for their talents. Together they prayed that God will continue to strengthen their freshman class as they grow as the best versions of themselves and into  Christian leaders who will change the world.
