Catholic Schools Week is under way and students are celebrating the gift of Catholic education. Today we celebrated our students. Students received a special blessing from Fr. Thomas. Students received a special treat. Ten lucky high school students had their names drawn out of a hat to receive a coffee from Mr. Reichert. Today’s winter games activities include the hallway decorating contest. Academy students are participating in paper airplane competitions, bowl of knowledge, and sledding.

We asked students from elementary to high school what they love about their Catholic school, and here is what they had to say:

“I love my Catholic school because confession is available whenever you need it, and the teachers genuinely care about their students’ education.”

“I love my Catholic school because I can go and talk to a priest whenever I want. I can also go and talk to Christ in the chapel whenever I need to.”

“I love my Catholic school because I get to visit Christ in the chapel everyday.”

“I love my Catholic school because we pray and do confession and we receive communion once a week or more. The priests are always free to talk with me.”
