Everest’s commitment to in-person learning is rooted in its mission as a Catholic school. In-person learning provides personal attention, the benefits of carefully planned learning environments, the sacraments which are the foundation of faith-education, formation which extends beyond the transmission of information, and a faith-based learning community. Physical presence in the classroom provides students with experiences, opportunities, and effective learning in a Catholic environment which is impossible to replicate completely in a distance learning situation – no matter how effective the distance learning system may be.

Everest’s safety procedures have proved extremely effective. We appreciate the commitment of Everest faculty, staff, and families to following screening, sanitation, and additional precautionary measures, which have assured to date there has been no known school-related COVID transmission. EC high school students are eager to return to campus as soon as possible.
