EC seniors walked across the street to volunteer at the Veteran’s Day recognition held at the Independence Township Senior Center. Students stood, waved, and thanked veterans who came to the event to participate in a short parade and pick up a care package. Freshmen and sophomores had made cards for the veterans.
Before walking over, students reflected on the service veterans have given our country. With many of the seniors already eighteen years old, they reflected on the service veterans have given to our country. God bless you!
