Everest Academy second-grade students headed to their local precinct today to vote. With voter registration complete, voter ID in hand, each student signed in and completed their ballot. Students inserted their ballots into the ballot box. Administrators were invited as special guests to come cast their ballots.
Second-grade teacher Miss Wildrick provided information to the voters about each of the candidates: Mr. Chocolate Chip and Mr. Oreo. When all the votes were tallied, Mr. Chocolate Chip was declare the winner. Rumor has it there are administrators discussing a recount.
