Third-grade boys read the book Henry Huggins by Beverly Clearly. The class was assigned to create a diorama depicting a scene from the book. Students also wrote a brief summary of the plot. Each boy had the opportunity to present their diorama to the class. Mrs. Susan Ohlinger reminded the boys to pay attention to aspects of human formation while they were presenting: standing up straight, wearing their uniform properly, and speaking clearly. Public speaking isn’t practiced only at forensics!

The boys enjoyed the book. Their dioramas showed a lot of creativity and some common favorite scenes!
