The Everest Collegiate soccer team held their annual alumni scrimmage on Thursday, August 15. After seeing the current varsity team race out to an early lead, the alumni worked themselves back into game shape and came away victorious. Head coach John Haezebrouck said that this tradition has become one of the more anticipated events each season. Alumni from the past five classes were represented, and it shows not only how connected the graduates are to one another, but also to the soccer program and the Everest community as a whole.
The Everest Collegiate soccer team begins their season on Tuesday, August 20, at Southfield Christian and will play their first home game of the year versus Oakland Christian on Thursday, August 22 at 7:00 P.M. Go Mountaineers!
